We are the All-Chicago Tenant Alliance
The All-Chicago Tenant Alliance is an organization made up of Chicago tenants and tenant unions. We look to build durable tenant unions across the city which are prepared to defend themselves from the exploitation and abuse of their landlords while building power for an offensive movement against the dominance of landlords. A world without landlords is possible.
Organize Your Building
Are you dealing with landlord neglect or abuse? Is your apartment falling apart as the rent keeps going higher? Do you have pests, mold, or leaks? Contact the All-Chicago Tenant Alliance and we’ll help you talk to your neighbors an put together a tenant union which can stand up against landlord neglect and abuse.

ACTA Rent Strike Fund
ACTA maintains a rent strike fund to support Chicago tenants who are on strike. Currently we are supporting the Belden Sawyer Tenant Association in their historic rent strike.
If you are considering going on strike with your tenant union, contact us for more information about the fund.

Organize with ACTA
The All-Chicago Tenant Alliance proactively seeks out buildings and tenants to form unions. We primarily organize on the West Side of Chicago in the neighborhoods of Austin, West Garfield, Humboldt Park, Logan Square, and Lawndale, but we have volunteers and general members from across the city.
If you are interested in contributing to our on the ground organizing or one of our other efforts, follow the link below to answer some initial questions and we’ll get back to you to set up an initial conversation. A member of ACTA will tell you more about our organization in a short phone call. The next step is typically to join us for one of our weekly canvassing days which happen every Saturday.
